Herb and Garlic Spread

A punch of flavor, this spread is best made a day ahead to let the garlic mellow a bit. 


Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz. Package of Cream Cheese, softened

  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, finely grated

  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, grated with a microplane

  • 1/2 Teaspoon dried Basil

  • 1/2 Teaspoon dried Parsley

  • 1/2 Teaspoon dried Oregano

  • 1/2 Teaspoon dried Thyme

  • 1/2 Teaspoon dried Dill

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

  • Dash of Cayenne Pepper, to taste

Serve with

  • Fresh Chives, finely chopped


Preparation

  1. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients until thoroughly combined.

  2. Enjoy spread over toast and topped with chives. Also goes great with raw veggies, crackers, and sandwiches.
