Herb and Garlic Spread
A punch of flavor, this spread is best made a day ahead to let the garlic mellow a bit.
Serves 4
Ingredients
1 8 oz. Package of Cream Cheese, softened
2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
2 Cloves of Garlic, grated with a microplane
1/2 Teaspoon dried Basil
1/2 Teaspoon dried Parsley
1/2 Teaspoon dried Oregano
1/2 Teaspoon dried Thyme
1/2 Teaspoon dried Dill
1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Dash of Cayenne Pepper, to taste
Serve with
Fresh Chives, finely chopped
Preparation
In a bowl, mix together all ingredients until thoroughly combined.
Enjoy spread over toast and topped with chives. Also goes great with raw veggies, crackers, and sandwiches.
